SFTP and FTP speed !!!

Hi all!

I have a problem with speed from and to a server on my DMZ.

Im running astaro 3.2
i have 3 NIC´s:
internal, external and dmz.

when im on internal net and downloading from dmz the speed is 150kbps
when im on internal net and uploading to dmz the speed is 10-15kbps
the speed is the same from internet (external)

Ive tried with both ftp and sftp (ssh)

Please help!!

    Hi,

    this is only an assumption, but might it be possible that you do port-forwarding to your DMZ? If so, you use your internet interface for transfers to the DMZ and then the speed might be o.k.. If you have private IPs assigned to your DMZ create a rule to allow your SSH traffic and test with these IPs, this might help.
    It is not an issue with Astaro in General for I am able to achieve better upload rates through an Astaro Firewall.

    Ive tried to run ftp to another ftp-server in my DMZ. The speed was ok.
    guess it was a nic problem on my ssh-server.

    problem solved. :-)
