HTTP traffic passes VPN tunnels on clients

I use PPTP. It seems that all http traffic passes the vpn allthough it is seems like a bad idea.

As an example, when conneted to the ASL box from a PPTP client and browsing, say, www.cnn.com, the request gets through the tunnel to the ASL (which BTW is not allows and therefor the user gets an error).

When the PPTP connection is disconneted, the page shows up correctly.

Is it possible to have requsts not meant for the cooperate LAN to pass the "normal" way?

    Thats a windows thing, it always assigns dialup networking to be the default route and a PPTP VPN is counted as a DUN connection by windows.

    You would have to create a default route using the route command on the workstation I would imagine, nothing to do with Astaro.
