Age of Empires, hosting server.

Anyone hosted a AoE server behind Astaro NAT ?
I'm having problems getting people to be able to connect to my server from remote.  Any tips or hints ?  I have setup NAT forwarding for the ports for DX7 direct play. (I think correctly).

Any gotchas I might have overlooked ?  Anyone got a set of NAT rules I could look at for this ?

    I'm not having any luck hosting Age of Empires behind Astaro.

    I've created all the rules without any luck.

    Has anyone actually managed to get Age of Empires -or- Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds working behind Astaro and if so can I pinch your rules/settings for this ?  Thanks.

    Have you checked the logfiles for dropped or rejected packages?

    Remember that not only do you need to set the NAT statements for these services, you also need to allow them through on the packet filter.  Looking at the packet filter live log while trying to connect should show you what traffic is being dropped.  I have been able to host Empire Earth games no prob, AoE should not be an issue.

    I have opened up the following ports to my computer behind the firewall and it still didn't work.
    6073 UDP
    47624 TCP
    2300-2400 TCP
    2300-2400 UDP
    The only way that I have been able to get it to work is by opening "ALL" ports to the computer.  Of course, that kind of defeats the purpose of having a firewall then.
    My wife is on another computer behind the firewall and I tried setting her up the same way, but using an additional IP on the main nic.  For some reason, it would not work for her at all.  The only thing that I could think of was that incoming packets went to xxx.xxx.xxx.226 but when her game sent out any information, it probably went out on the xxx.xxx.xxx.225 interface (the main one which was forwarding everything to my computer and game.).  I tried to set a rule up that said that whatever came from her computer should go out on the xxx.xxx.xxx.226 IP, but that ended up hosing the firewall and I had to complety reinstall the firewall because I could no longer access from another computer to the webadmin interface.  I could however log in to the concel, but had no idea of what/where to change what I did.  Luckily, I had a backup of the configuration that I could put back in after reinstalling ASL.
    Any help would be greatly appreciated.
