Netmeeting NAT?

Hi all,

I'm trying to get Netmeeting working thru a ASL 3.209 Office Version. It seems there are problems with NAT since my contact at the other end tells me that my LAN IP is in the information he receives.

I searched information about Linux H323 NAT support, and got some, with patched iptables and netfilter.
I've no Linux box available at that time to test if this solution runs fine.

I investigated on my ASL, and found some interesting things.
So, my questions:
- what is the purpose of H323 related modules loaded on my ASL? I mean ip_nat_h323 and ip_conntrack_h323 modules that are listed with lsmod.
- Is there a way to get it running? If so, how?
If not, do you plan to make it available soon?

    Hi Yves,

    I have just set up the default nat, portforwarding and some rules. Netmeeting works flawlessly out-of-the-box.
    You are just trying to connect your netmeeting client to the microsoft directory? 

    You say that your contact in the other end gets your LAN ip (which is strange), but you don't say anything about the connection working or not  [:)]

    Thanks for your answer, sorry for my late reply.   [;)]  

    All services are "nated" and allowed to my netmeetig client on the ASL.
    I issue a connection on the IP address at the other end, a Windows XP, no firewall, routers, and so on.
    My contact reports that his Windows box tries to answer to my LAN IP address, not my "official" IP address on the net.
    So, he is unable to answer... Hence, I think there is a masquerading problem in some information that are forwarded to the other side. 
    I don't use LDAP at all, neither MS nor mine.

    What am I doing wrong?? Any idea??  [:)]
