DNAT based on host name ?

Hi,

is it possible to do DNAT based on host names ? I've the following issue: in our DMZ we have 2 webservers (on for webmail and one for some other sites). I need to redirect request to the 2 webservers. How do I do that ? Is the only way to do it using different ports numbers on ASL and DNAT those to the correct webserver ? Or is it possible to do it based on the requested host. EG http://myserver1.domain.com goes to server1 and http://myserver2.domain.com goes to server2.

Depends.

If you only have 1 real IP, then you need to use different port #'s, or put both sites on one server and set that server up to handle both sites (as virtual sites).

If you have multiple real IP's, you have many options.

yes I have multiple IP, so I'm going for that option. I thought that ASL maybe had an option for DNAT based on host name...
