Default firewall settings

Got a kind of fast question.

In the default install of ASL (haven't actually found a box that'll work with it yet, still looking) does it block incoming and outgoing transmissions or just incoming by default?

Hi Jabberwocky,

by default the Astaro denys all traffic.
The simplest rule may be any-any-any-allow.

Hi,
to be correct, after first install (only one
interface is configured) https tcp/443 is open, to
configure the firewall .

The firewall itself is allowed to access our up2date
service tcp/222, DNS tcp/udp/53 to resolve the admins domain
for delivering notifications as well as smtp tcp/25 to send it!
