DNAT not working...what am I doing wrong?

Im not sure, but you may have to set the packet filter to allow it to "External1" as well as Internal1...

  • Ok here is what I have done:
First I added the IP to the external nic card (this is a alias)
    168.103.x.x

Then I made to define's in network:
    external1 168.103.x.x 255.255.255.255
    internal1 10.10.11.17 255.255.255.255

    Then I create my DNAT
    Source Address: No Match
    Destination Address: external1
    Service: SSH

    Change Source to:
    Address: No Change

    Change Destination to:
    Address: internal1
Service Destination: No Change (I also tried it with ssh).

After that I added the Packet Filter Rule of:
    Any SSH internal1 Allow

So what am I doing wrong here?
  • BTW this is on the latest version of ASL, not 2.x.

I have done this a ton of times with version 2.x and never had a issue....has something changed with the new version?
