pop, telnet etc connection time out

I use the 3.2 version. 
I have a lan,dmz,internet configuration.
The internet interface is connected to a router wich handles the dsl interfacing and does nat. So the internet nic has a private adres.

The firewall works, that is, the socks, http an smtp proxy all works fine. 
DNAT from the internet interface to the dmz server works fine aslo.

I've a problem though, I'm unable to use po3 or telnet to connect to the outsite world.
After adding a packet rule from eth0_network to all/all allow I don't see anything happen in the log files. But the connection simply times out.

    do you have masquerading rule like 
    internal network->external interface?

    At the moment not, but I tried it with a masquerading rule on, and that did not help.
    So I turned it of again, because i don't really need the masquerading. (The nexland router is doing that for me also).

    Do I need to set static routing somewhere?
    This i my setup:

    I added a static route on the nexland to the astaro net interface for the lan network, all is fine now!
