default gateway (external) unreachable

Hello,

I have ASL 2.016 between two networks. The internal network is for WLAN and the external for
wired lan. The external network has a connection to internet.

From inside the internal network I can ping succesfully all the workstations on the external network, but not the defalt gateway. Thus laptops in the internal network won't be able to connect to internet. Masquerade is in use.

I have exactly the same configuration (except different ip addresses) elsewhere and it works without any problems. What might be wrong?

Under Network/Interfaces/Default gateway I have
the ip address of the default gateway of the
external network.

    Do you have "ICMP on Firewall" enabled? (under Packet Filter->ICMP)

    Hello,

    Yes, ICMP on Firewall was enabled.
    I reinstalled the asl box and made the same
    configurations. This time I ended up in a situation that I can't reach any workstations
    in the external network by pinging them.

    I even allowed any traffic from/to any host.

    I can reach the ip address of the external network card from any workstation in the external network. And then I can reach the ip address of the external network card from any workstation in the internal network as well. But the networks just don't route any traffic.

    Any ideas? Bad hardware? Shouldn't be...
