block https access

Hey, not sure what approach to take here.
A plain installed ASL with no explicit rules allowing https, will automatically block https (and everything else for that sake).

If you have a problem with https not being blocked, you have to have opened something after installation I think.

Please tell me more about your setup, any relevant rules and so on.

i only have two rules setup;

etho network any any allow

and

pptp_pool any any allow

Does "etho network any any allow" mean that you are allowing ANY service from the OUTSIDE to access your internal network.. or is it ANY service from the INSIDE to the outside...

It's a bit difficult when you don't include info about your definitions.

I had a similar problem. by default i think web admin settings allow any network connections....for remote admin outside your lan..

Try System/settings/web admin settings 

and scrow down to allowed networks...remove any and add your internal interface...

it seems to have worked for me....my https was open to the world....and now it is blocked.
