Packet filter for blocked IP

Dear All,

I find a problem for the packet filter, I set some blocked IP in the packet filter for the smtp service, but some IP can pass throught the packet filter to the SMTP proxy, I tried re-set many times, but the problem not solve, I find this problem in the version 2 and version 3, anyone tried this, and how can I solve it.

In the packet filter:

From (Client)    Service     To (Server)      Action
{Blocked-Mail}   SMTP        eth1_interface__     Log Reject

    I've got a funny feeling that the external intereface isn't affected by the packet filter rules. You would probably need to modify some settings in the mail proxy itself to get what you want. But why don't you just get your internal mail server to reject the mails?
