I am trying to get a machine into router mode. I tried it several times, but without succes. The firewall does not allow me to do so. I can ping from the router connected to the interface which is his gateway to the firewall. I also can ping from an interface on the astaro firewall towards the inner nic of the machine who needs to be in router mode and reverse. But I cannot ping from a workstation in a lan under the machine who needs to be in router mode to the router connected to the internet. I can only traceroute to its gateway-interface to the firewall.
So I can ping through the machine in router mode but the firewall blocks it. What need to be done in the static routing table of the Astaro firewall?
