Control Users to FTP access.

How i can control users in order to allow only some of them to have ftp access.

What rules to do I apply ?.

I have all ready created an group of ip address with access to certain services (ftp, http).

    My assumption was that FTP was installed with Astaro, I guess most services are not enable due to security reasons.

    Then my question is, apart from creating the required FTP directory and files, what other files do I need to edit to have FTP running.

    Hi,

    You do not want to enable FTP on the firewall trust me. If you do you might as well throw the firewall and use netfilter rules on std. linux instead.
    FTP is one of the most insecure protocols around.
    You do not want to mix it with a firewall.
