Firewall not responding

Hi, I have a problem with Windows 9x computers. Sometimes when I boot a Windows 9x computers if I ping the firewall I don't have response, but, if I ping Windows 9x computer from firewall console I have response, and then the ping from de Windows computer works well too. Any idea?

Hi,

By default the astaro firewill wil not respond to ICMP packets (like ping packets). To have astaro respond to ping packets: under 'Packet Filter' -> 'ICMP' enable 'ICMP on Firewall'.
This will solve your 'problem'.

I have ICMP enabled, and I have discovered where is the problem. I don't have VLANs, all the Firewall NICs are conneted to the same switch, and when ping have not response, I do 'arp -a' in windows computer and surprise, the Physical Address of Internal IP are de Physical Address of DMZ NIC. Why?
