Can Astaro act as router to?

Hi!

I have a problem getting astaro to resolve internet adresses, ip works fine, but as soon as i try real adresses it wont work... From my internal network ftp works if a use ip... So... Does ne1 have tip on howto use Astaro without my own external router. I have static ip and gateway from my ISP.

Use the ASL DNS-proxy.

Configure the clients with your asl-box as DNS-server and the asl-box itself with the DNS-server provided by your ISP.

Slackerboy,

did you configure masquerading for your internal addresses. In addition you need ALLOW filters to grant access to the wanted services!
