Authentication for packetfilter?

Hi, I need a way to atuhenticate the users that uses the packetfilter. Users can be defined for Socks, HTTP proxy, SMTP and WebAdmin. Does anyone know of a way to let them authenticate for using astaro as a packet filter? I've thought of adding the users' IP address under network definitions, but this is not a good way of doing it.

    Hi koos, 

    you could use PPTP to do that, just add the users and allw them to use PPTP and than set packetfilter rules either on the PPTP-Pool or for each users.

    And you don't need to install any additional software.
