VPN Routing

I am running PPTP on the Astaro firewall. I am running into a routing issue when users vpn into the network it gives them a 10.225.?.? ip.  The problem is that on a windows 2000 box when you setup a vpn into the network if you have the use gateway on remote network checked you can't get anywhere else on the internet. Now if i uncheck that box I can get everywhere else on the internet but not on the VPN network unless I manually put a route in on the pc that says route add 192.168.2.0 MASK 255.255.255.0 10.225.?.?..  Any help would be appreciated..

    Tricky,

    that's MS routing, I think it is just a missing
    field to define the network to tunnel to :-(

    Maybe the parameter "-p" for a permanent network
    route works, but this would make it nescessary to
    assign static pptp addresses.

    I have encountered the same problem.

    The way I have fudged the issue is to select the not use default gateway on remote network (so the internet works) and manually add the "local" routes with a batch file that contains all the routing info required.

    The batch file I use is setup to cope with the fact that the VPN address assigned to the client as the default gateway may vary from one connection to another.  It does this through the use of errorrlevels.
