G'Day
I am comissioning ADSL on my home network - using an ADSL router with NAT. In this router I can define where to send packets that it receives, so that I can have a server.
When I telnet to my exteral address, the packet goes to the router, and the desination address is changed, and the packet comes back to my firewall. The firewall then sees it as a SPOOF and kills it off.
The problem is that my ROUTER loops the packet back - therefore the source address of the packet being recieved from the ROUTER belongs to one of the other networks on my FIREWALL.
I know that ANTI-SPOOF is normally a requirement for a FIREWALL, however in my case I have other pieces of equipment that will ensure the anit-spoof before getting to the firewall. The only way I can really get this working properly is to disable this.
Is there any EASY way to get the anti-spoof disabled on an interface? Can there be in the future an advanced option under the WebAdmin to turn this off?
Many thanks
Darryl
