I have set up a IPSec connection as described in http://docs.astaro.org/docs/vpn_howto.htm. When testing the connection I get the following message in the VPN LiveLog.

Mar 1 21:48:34 router1 Pluto[3034]:| removing 4 bytes of padding
Mar 1 21:48:34 router1 Pluto[3034]:| sending:
Mar 1 21:48:34 router1 Pluto[3034]:| state transition function for STATE_MAIN_R2 failed: INVALID_ID_INFORMATION

Can anyone help me what this means? Where to find more about this handshakes?
