G'Day and HELP...
I need some help with multi-homing. I have just got two internet connections.
* Permament Dialup though a NetComm ethernet interface. The PPP connection has a dedicated address for the link, and I have 16 addresses that get routed through this link.
* ADSL with PPPoA with an Alcatel Speedtouch PRO and a single IP address [running NAT at the moment, sending all unknown incoming connections to a machine in my DMZ]
What I want to do is to have some way that I can have both links up at the same time. With the routing at the moment if I attempt to use the ADSL as the gateway then connections that come in through the modem will attempt to be routed out through the ADSL, and the ADSL will not know about the NAT on the inside so will throw this away.
Does anyone have any brilliant ideas... I have ADSL here and working now, but no way to use it since it will take some time to move everything off the modem onto ADSL...
I would wait for the new ASL 3.0 but I am not sure that this would help either.
Any assistance would be appreciated
