A lot of packet filter violation from broadcast

I am seeing a lot of packet filter violation from my packetfilter violation livelog.  It is all broadcast message between my internal client and the firewall internal gateway

03:09:07 192.168.1.2 137  ->  192.168.1.255 137 UDP  
03:09:07 192.168.1.2 137  ->  192.168.1.255 137 UDP  
03:09:08 192.168.1.2 137  ->  192.168.1.255 137 UDP  
03:09:08 192.168.1.2 137  ->  192.168.1.255 137 UDP  
03:09:09 192.168.1.2 138  ->  192.168.1.255 138 UDP  
03:09:09 192.168.1.2 138  ->  192.168.1.255 138 UDP 


Is there a way to eliminate this?
