Missing Default Gateway --- HELP!!!!!!

After upgrading to 2.019 the no one could get out to the Internet.  I check the routing table and noticed that the DEFAULT Gateway was missing.  I issued the command -- 

route add -net 0.0.0.0 netmask 0.0.0.0 gw 1.2.3.4 

this command corrected the problem but, everytime that I try to change SAVE the Default Gateway from the WEBADMIN interface, the default gateway goes missing from the routing table.

Has anyone else had this probelm?  Is this a problem with 2.019?  Is there a resolution to the problem?

    I didnt have this problem. Which Version from did you do your update? Maybe you should install the latest stable (must be 2.016), start your updates and put back your backup.

    I have the exact same problem.  Just installed a 2.016 Astaro to play with at a new location and after Up2Date completed there's no more default route to be found.  Every time I make a change to the firewall rules it re-loads the routing table which doesn't have the default route which then isolates the network until someone locally can re-add the route.

    Up2Date put the following updates on:

    New Updates: 2.016.tar.gpg 2.018.tar.gpg 2.015.tar.gpg 2.010.tar.gpg 2.019.tar.gpg
    2.012.tar.gpg 2.005.tar.gpg 2.014.tar.gpg

    I wonder if 2.0.18.tar created the problem:

    Bugfix: typo in MiddleWare generated /etc/rc.d/networks script
    Bugfix: fixed MiddleWare routing table setup after VPN restart
