DNAT

i have DNAT configured to route my local, external port 25 to an internal machine with the same port 

10.1.2.6 is a windows server running a httpd
10.1.2.7 is a linux server running a httpd

The packetfilter-violation-livelog claims that the "SYN" packets are dropped between the remote machine and the astaro machine.  

This dropping occurs only when i make the destination internal machine the windows (2000 server) box. (10.1.2.6)

when i change the dnat table so it is routed to the linux box (10.1.2.7), it works perfectly.

i have verified that the astaro machine can ping the internal machines.

as a test, i have "any" across the board for the filter rule set.

no proxy services are enabled

mascarading has been turned on and is working properly

all filtering is turned off as much as possible.

any ideas?
