Performanze to servers in DMZ

Hi!

I have a problem with performanze to servers in the DMZ.
Internal -> External works fine and fast
External -> DMZ forks fine and fast
Internal -> DMZ heres my problem.
If I try to connect to serverX in the DMZ with ssh or ftp it takes about 1 minut before I get the connection when I get the connection there is no lag on ssh - while ftp is slow on doing the list command (upload works oki)
Any idea of how to solve this?

Slow connection (until connection is established) usually derives from DNS problems. Do you use names to connect to DMZ? Have you tried with IP?

As for the list command slowdown, try passive ftp if you are on active. It might be an FTP control block at the ASL.

Yes I've tried using the ip with the same result.

Have u applyed rules that ALLOW traffic from insite to DMZ ?
