Another Rule Question

I have a rule allowing:
any - DNS - any - allow
In my Live Log it still is showing :

192.168.1.99 - 1601 -> 161.58.202.106 113 TCP
Does this mean my DNS server is not updating? If so is there a way to solve this?

113 is identd/auth, nothing to do with DNS. Do you use your own DNS server or relay on your ISP?

Enable the DNS Proxy, set all your LAN clients to get DNS from the internal IP of ASL and set ASL to get DNS from 2-3 closest DNS servers, either yours if you run one or those of your ISP (they probably have more than one).

Thanks Maurice. I'll give it a try. It's a shame I haven't been able to put this ASL box into service yet. I have websites that need to be live and am just am unable to serve them up due to DNS problems. The box is a cobalt raq and is a DNS server itself. I guess that's the problem...
