Live Log Question

I have an entry in the livelog that says:

208.51.0.81 - 53 -> 192.168.1.99 - 53 UDP

but I also have a packet filter rule that says:

External - DNS - 192.168.1.99 - allow

192.168.1.99 is my DNS/Webserver.
Any thoughts??

which version are you running ?

Please take a look at the DNS definition in "Definitions->Services" and see if it includes source ports lower than 1024.

in Definitions/Services, DNS show in the S column tcp/udp - 1:65535 - 53 - static. do I need to add a custom DNS service and if so what should I use?

Any - DNS - 192.168.1.99 - Allow

Request to DNS come from outside to the DNS server and identify themselve as such. Your external is not changing the request IP to itself (unless you expicitly set this up).
