To whom it may concerne,
I am looking at replacing the old firewall where I work with a new one. I am wondering if this product may do what I need. The way our network currently works is that the firewall sits between out internal network and our router.
Ther router has several Ip address that are passed to one nic on the firewall. The firewall will then pass traffic to the proper server behind it (We use the none resolving 10.*.*.* block inside the building). We also need it to block ports unless we specificaly allow them through.
external_ip1 -> FIREWALL -> internal server1
external_ip2 -> FIREWALL -> internal server2
external_ip3 -> FIREWALL -> internal server3
(And so on.)
We also have all the machines inside the building pass through the firewall to get to the internet. All traffic from inside the building goes out over a single ip address (as far as the outside sees it)
external_ip4
