    Hi,
    I'm running a evaluation and have a test
    fw, before i used suse 7.2 with iptables
    successfull so far.

    its maybe easy, I have
    -3nics, eth0=internal eth1=external eth2=
    not in use,not patched.

    eth0 has a own switch together with 1 testclient

    eth1 is on a shared switch with different IP 
    segments, but has its default gw and a public
    IP.

    icmp from fw to outside and inside OK
    icmp from client to eth0 and eth1 ok but not
    to outside.

    configured: icmp forward and icmp on fw = enabled.
    configured: masq from int to ext and vice verca.

    Now I'm wondering why I cant access from
    inside to outside anything.

    Nothing appears in the fw logs except when im doing a client ping to a fqdn name, 
    /var/log/daemon says denied query from ... 
    to .. .


    Does anybody have a idea ?
