Blocking Yahoo Chat

Hi,
How Can i block the yahoo and msn chat,let me give the details first.

My Rule base is given below

from any client to any service to the server 216.136.224.142 drop
from any client to any service to the server 216.136.224.143 drop
from any client to any service to the server 64.4.13.50 drop

i have  implementing the above rules, still he can able to connect to my machine i don't know how?

Need some solutions ASAP.

    Hi,

    is it possible that you defined any rule before that allowed any traffic to this server ? First matches stops continous checking.

    Did you a rule set that allows any private pc's access to all services to the internet ?

    To receive messages via messanger your private pc has to be the first to established a connection to yahoo.

    Mabe it helps a little bit ?!?! ;-)

    Hi Raj,
    You block port destination 5050 for Yahoo
    And MSN is Destination port 1863 
    Just block these on the firewall
