Nat vs. Proxy

I've got a question for you guys. I've got a network with a little over 100 pc's, of which about 40 or 50 will be on at one time. What will be faster/better for my situation? Nat would be easier to implement because I would have to try to make changes using IEAK to get internet explorer to use a proxy server. But, proxy would offer advantages like virus detection etc.

What do you guys thing?

Hi,

1) it depends on the hw (performance) of your proxy-maschine.

2) use "transparent-proxy" and no changes of the IEAK have to been done. But in this case no proxy-auth. is possible !
