RDP to Internal

I'm either missing something obvious or something strange is happenning - can anyone shed any light on the following:

1. Server Internally on whatever. Win2K running IIS, Terminal Services etc. Server called ODIN

2. I can connect locally to the server using RDP (3389) - so it works. I can connect to the server using HTTP as I have set up DNAT rules etc very similar too the ones below

3. Define RDP as TCP, 1024:65535, 3389

4. Set up DNAT rule as External_NIC, RDP, ODIN, RDP

5. Set up a rule in the Packet Filter as Any, RDP, ODIN, Allow

I think this is correct - however:
When I attempt to connect from externally the filter livelog shows entries that indicate that the connection attempt is being blocked. I've even tried allowing anything through rather than just RDP but it doesn't help.

Tearing my hair out here - and I don't have much left anyway

You must make the TSE GW IP address the same as the FW. [:)]

Gateway is correct. I can log into the server usng HTTP from an external address. Something is refusing to let RDP through and I can't see what it is.

Found it.

The firewall needed rebooting before it would recognise the new rules. Don't know why - but the reboot solved the problem.
