Lose Web with VPN Activated

When I activate the VPN in ASL 1.824 I lose all internet for my internal network. If i disable the VPN after it has been activated I have to reset the default gateway manually.  Any ideas?

    I believe this has to do with adopting the default gateway of the remote network when you are VPN'd in.

    Unfortunately, I don't know how to fix that.  I believe it has to do with installing a source route to put all of your packets out a defined gateway.
