Accounting problem

I am seeing gaps in the accounting on my server. Any suggestions on what might be problematic?

Below you'll se my accounting:

Wednesday     13. June      2001:        98.188.378 Bytes
Thursday      14. June      2001:     1.621.051.046 Bytes
Saturday      16. June      2001:     1.379.452.397 Bytes
Sunday        17. June      2001:     1.277.015.024 Bytes

    Hi wahlis,

    what version are you using? 
    In versions prior to the 1.9 release, there was a bug in the accounting system. The accounting data is gathered correctly, but when adding up the pieces, the sum got an overflow when reaching more than 2^31 bits (approximately 2 gigs) a day. This is a problem of linux shell arithmetics.

    If you log in via ssh, go to /var/log/accounting and do a 
    cat June_2001.monate, you will see that the missing days have a leading - before the byte counter; the Webadmin is intelligent enough to ignore those.

    I already fixed that problem, and with the next up2date, a script will get executed to re-create the sums from your logfiles. This up2date is just a few cpu_clock_ticks away  [;)]
