User authentication to other services than HTTP and SOCKS?

Hello all,

Is there any possibility to authenticate users on ASL for other services than HTTP or SOCKS. For example telnet?

Would be a VERY nice feature.

    nothing planned there, but since SOCKS is a very generic proxy, you can use it for telnet, ssh, ftp etc.

    SecureCRT (telnet and SSH) from VanDyke does support SOCKS just fine, for example  [:)]
