CHROOT DHCPC

My cable modem company just discovered after 6 months that I was running a static IP which is "forbidden". I must now reconfigure for DHCP. Has anyone gotten the bundled DHCPC running in the CHROOT environment? Can you post a how-to on editing the scripts and making the DHCPC daemon run at boot?

I've seen the docs and have implemented the solutions on docs.astaro.com but I'd like to get the CHROOT version running. Little help here...anyone?
