Mails in queue

Hi,
I have a problem with a mail in the.
This Friday evening our internal Mailserver stopped working (M$ ***). It started working on monday morning. Astaro queued the mails as it should. Now one of our users got mails from a mailing list. Astaro tried to send the mails to our internal mailserver (which was not reachable). Astaro got a timeout and tried to send the mails back to the mailinglist which does not accept the mails. Now the mails are in queue. 
When will the mails leave the queue or are they in an andless loop?
