whereis IP Tables script

Hello guys, 
               Time for more "whereis this file or that file ". I like this product, but from the very start(check my very first posts) I have been begging for some sort of doc that would help in locating needed files. Who needs the GUI if you know where the config files are and what to put in them     
  Now I am trying to find the script that controls the packet filtering features of the firewall. I have found an executable file called "firewall_on.sh" and "firewall_off.sh", but all what these do, as far as I can see, is  to call the needed modules and enable/disable forwarding.
  I would like to find this file so I can look it over(the beauty of open source)and hopefully modify it to suit my needs with my proxy arp project.

    Good luck trying to find it.  I belive it's inside the middleware someplace.  Check out the /var/log/mdw log to see the settings it pushes down.

    I've just mad manual entrys to the IPTABLES chain... the problem is you have to re-enter them each time the mdw re-runs it self.
