    "Reading between the lines" is a challenge! ;-)

    It looks like you're asking about a masquerading rule like 'Internal (Network)-> External'.  That's to send traffic out into the Internet with the IP of "External (Address)" so that the response can find its way back to you.  The UTM's connection tracker will then know by the combination of source IP + source port + destination port where to send a response to a specific request from an IP in your LAN.  Was that your question?
