Access point installation

Dear All,

 

Can we add Another vendor Access Point in Sophos firewall,if yes,could you please share the steps to add the AP

    Not in management Wireless Protection as far as I know. But you can use the foreign AP normal and route the traffic as “WiFi” with UTM in a separate Vlan for example.

    Hi  

    As Alexander mentioned, you can use other vendor's AP behind UTM but you won't be able to manage it under Wireless Protection. The traffic will not be distinguished unless you do so by applying a different VLAN. You may configure UTM as DHCP and DNS server in your other vendor's AP if you want but that's the maximum you can use Sophos UTM to control AP.
