No access to wss://website.com unless port 443 bypassed

Hi everybody,
when I try to access a particualar website which uses websockets (wss://website.com), the request is blocked by the firewall. I tried setting an exception for this particular website in the webfilter with no success. If I bypass all traffic on port 443, the website works.
Are there settings/exceptions possible that are less radical?

Thanks in advance and kind regards, Ken

  • Hi Jaydeep
that's exactly what I did - I created an "Exception List", skipping all checks "For all requests" matching these URLs: ^([A-Za-z0-9.-]*\.)?website\.com\.?/
I guess there's an regex error? In the browser console, I get the message "Firefox can't connect to wss://www.website.com/foo/bar"

    Regards, Ken
