make PS4 Remote Play working?

Dear all

I am trying to get "Playstation 4 Remote Play" working.

According to help articles from PlayStation it says it would be sufficient to open UDP 9296, UDP 9297 and UDP 9303.
However, other articles say that 9296 should be TCP and also that NAT for those ports is required.

I've configured UDP/TCP 9296,UDP/TCP 9297 and UDP/TCP 9303 with NAT to the PS4 device.

Sure its not working.

Did anyone got it working? What settings do you use?

Kind regards

N3

PlayStation should get an award for the most nonsense port use.

  • .. and of course, I got it working a minute after the posting... I had to extend the IDP exceptions.

It is working this way. Please see the settings below. However, I am not too happy with the solution. I feel like I have to open too much to have the PlayStation connecting. I am thinking about putting the PS into a dedicated network segment.

Maybe someone more experienced then I could review it?

NAT rule (it requires a NAT):
