Sonos across multiple IP subnets

Hello,

The sonos system relies on a network broadcast to add components to the system. Unfortunately, this limits the system to a single IP subnet.

I have found a blog that shows how you could solve this problem:
https://ask.sonos.com/sonos/topics/sonos_across_multiple_ip_subnets

Is that possible with the Sophos UTM (v9.313-3)? If yes, how I do it?

Thank you for your help.

Best regards

  • If you can't use the workarounds mentioned in the German Forum, I don't think there's any other community knowledge related to the UTM and MultiCast Routing specific to Sonos.

Too bad. Do you know if Sophos will implement on the next firmware?

Do you know which new feature will come this year? Thank you.
