webadmin external not working [Solved]

I have contacted support and beyond frustrated..hoping the forum may help.

I need to access the webadmin console from a machine outside the internal firewall network.

I thought it was as simple as enabling webadmin for the outside network that needed access, but that doesnt seem to be the case. I have went to the extreme of just allowing ANY network to webadmin, creating a firewall rule at the top position of any/any and still nothing... In fact when I do a port scan of the external ip address of the firewall it still shows all ports closed...even with an any/any firewall rule? I'm lost!

Edit: when I ping the external interface of the firewall and watch the firewall rule- I do see the ICMP pass and it says Nat Rule #1 which is a DNAT rule I have created...still no webadmin traffic shows
