Access Webadmin on Any Interface

Hello,

I am trying to access Sophos Webadmin on other interface rather then MGMT interface. But i am not able to access it although i have already added (ANY) network access in the webadmin allowed network settings.

    Just to make certain, you do realize that the address will be different when connecting from different interfaces?  It's going to use the IP assigned to the Interface you are connected behind.

    And to also make certain, you do realize that this is potentially bad on every IT security level, exposing your UTM login to an external source?  I realize that people want some ease of use scenarios, which for responsible IT folks, is not there.

    I would really recommend VPN/Remote Access other than this exposure.

    If you are really that hard up for this setup, I would mimic what Scott said above.  You would not be accessing it the same way as you would internally, and would need to test from an external source with your FQDN you have pointed to the UTM, or IP address on the different interface.

    Amodin is referencing the use of Any in Allowed Networks, if you didn't get that.  Much better to use specific Networks or IPs.  VPN is useful to reach webadmin from a different location, over the internet.

    Thanks friends, The issue is solved as well as there was some routing issue too.
