Hello,
my astaro is configured to have multiple IPs for different subnets on the internal interface:
10.2.1.0/24
10.2.2.0/24
10.2.3.0/24
and so on.
The interface carries the first IPs of every range as alias IP on the internal interface, they are standard gateway for devices in that subnets.
My windows 2003 DHCP server is in the 10.2.2.x subnet. It works well for the 10.2.2.x scope but I'm trying to add an additional scope for 10.2.8.x.
This scope fill not work at all. It looks as if REQUESTS are received but OFFERS will not arrive at the client.
I tried to activate DHCP relay but this requires multiple interfaces to be set up.
Funny enough: If I add another internal interface and configure a single subnet for this one, then set up DHCP relay between the first and second internal interface, DHCP will just work fine on both segments.
Has anybody seen this before and maybe any idea how to get DHCP woking for multiple subnets on the same interface?
Thanks,
Jesko
