Port forwarding to OpenVPN AS Applince

Hi,


Firmware version: 9.308-16

I am trying to forward VPN traffic to my OpenVPN AS appliance sitting behind the UTM. I have created a DNAT with an automatic firewall rule as follows:

Matching Condition:

Rule Type: DNAT
For traffic from: Any
Using Service: UDP Port 1194
Going to: External WAN (Address)

Action:

Change the destination to: 
And the service to: UDP Port 1195

Automatic Firewall rule: checked

Advanced:

Log initial packets: checked



While viewing the live firewall log I can see the connection come in, but my iOS OpenVPN client will not connect. It just keeps cycling through waiting on server.

I am no network guru by any means but a former DD-WRT user and comfortable using the port forwarding on this platform. If anyone can help me to figure why I cannot get the VPN connection working, I would much appreciate it.

Are you trying to do a port redirect from 1194 to 1195 or is that a typo?
