Email Notification

Hi Guys,

We setup Sophos UTM in AWS. I have a question regarding email notification. Our on premise network have IPSEC tunnel to AWS. So when we run port scan in one of the machine in AWS, we will receive email notification. We are running port scan via IPSEC tunnel sot it is somehow internal. This is good.

However, when we run port scan externally like https://pentest-tools.com/, https://w3dt.net and using nmap application from public network, Sophos will notify us using the Firewall Live Log but we are not receiving email notification.

Is this by design? Is there are way for us to be notified in case there is someone doing port scan in our firewall?
