How can I change the serach engine report view?

Hi

I'm new to UTM, so this might be easy for the experienced people out there. When I try to view the Search Engine Report, to see what people (specifically, my children, as this is a home deployment), I see one line for each letter added to the search. so for example if I someone had searched on 'Sophos utm', I would see a line for 's', another for 'so', another for 'sop'...and so until the whole search is spelled out. This clouds the view slightly, especially on searches with a lot of words in it. Does anyone know how I can reduce it so that only the final search term is shown?

Sounds like you're seeing the results of a feature in some search engines (like Google) called predictive searching, where searching will begin in the background as you type.  You would need to turn off this behavior in the settings for the search engine(s) used.

Example:  Google, there's a settings link in the lower right corner of the page.

There isn't a way not to show them in the UTM, as they are actual searches that have been requested by the client machines.  About the best you can do from the UTM side is to export the search reporting results as an excel spreadsheet to your PC.  Then you can delete the offending lines or do very advanced formula based filtering.
