IPv6 Interface Bug?

I am a home user so I really did not know where to post this other than here.

But...

I have a unique setup where I am part of the Comcast business IPv6 trials. So I have two routers provided by Comcast in which one provides my static IPv4 addresses and a second which gives me my IPv6 addresses.

So my setup is that I have two external interfaces. Eth0 is setup with my static IPv4 addresses and the IPv4 default gateway check box is selected and there is no IPv6 address assigned. Eth3 is setup with DHCP and gets an IPv4 DHCP address, default GW box is not checked, and it gets a DHCP IPv6 address, default GW box is checked. In the IPv6 section I get assigned an external IPv6 address and a delegated prefix. I have two prefix advertisements setup on two different ethernet nics and everything works great.

Where I run into an issue is when the UTM reboots, the IPv6 default GW box becomes unchecked and I get no native IPv6 address on the external, nor do I get a prefix delegated. I have to manually go in after every reboot and recheck the IPv6 default GW box.

Any help in what direction to go?

That's the thing Robert, this is a USER to USER forum. Others on this forum are either other users, such as yourself, or resellers, NOT sophos employees.

If you want some limited interaction with Sophos staff in an official capacity, you can participate in the 9.3 beta, ongoing now. https://www.astaro.org/beta-versions/utm-9-3-beta/. Plenty of opportunity to report bugs with the 9.3 beta there. Be aware, this is a beta and there will be bugs, so do not use the beta in production.

That's the thing, this is a user to user forum. Others on this forum are either other users, such as yourself, or resellers, NOT sophos employees.

So just how does a non paying support user report bugs to Sophos? There used to be plenty of Astaro folks in here that would respnd before they were bought out.

I would think this is something they would want to know about.
