Using UTM with 3rd party IDS

As an MSSP partner, we've sold a couple of SG310s to a customer, along with the IDS and SEIM we offer through another technology partner. Ideally, the IDS would jack into a span port. Is there a way to configure one of the unused interfaces on the SG to be a span port, so that all traffic is monitored by the IDS?

  • You can possibly use a bridged interface, but it depends on how many interfaces and networks you have.

Personally I've bought TAPs before from NetOptics, but if you have good switches it's often cheaper to use them.
